You landed at RBM BBQ web sight, look around and have fun!
Like us on Face Book too!!
Hello and Welcome to RBM-BBQ web page! I sold my last smoker the "Big Pig" at the auction and it is bitter sweet to know I am now done making smokers. It was a love affair that wasn't about the money, but about the art of building them and seeing people truly happy!
My auction was on May 17th, 2014 and I am walking away from years of building smokers and diddling with this web sight, well I guess I will still diddle with the web sight though. I want to cook more BBQ, not so much in competitions but for family, friends and the church. I have gotten away from the 10 cooking events a year I used to do, and kind of miss them. If you are lucky enough to own a one of a kind rbm-bbq smoker you are truly lucky! It is very unlikely there will ever be any more built! Cooking on one of my smokers will make the best BBQ around! So with the business sold and my new Harley in the Garage, I hope to see you at the next BBQ event! Please if you see me and are a fan of the web sight introduce yourself! I would also like to thank all of the people who bought one of my smokers. I have been getting many requests to build some since the announcement of the auction, so I would also like to thank those people as well and apologize that I cannot take on their builds. So happy BBQ'ing and good luck!
Monster Cooker has been delivered and is in a wonderful home!
The last few smokers I owned I finished up and sold to friends only! They went to some of my friends that truly appreciate good BBQ and love cooking. Steve is a great guy and now the proud owner of the monster smoker, this is a one of a kind masterpiece that is set back in a very beautiful setting!
Kerry is at Gary's
This smoker is great! It also went to a great guy that works hard and loves BBQ, I often thought it was more important to build smokers for people that are going to use them and not just let them sit and rust on the back deck, and Gary is one of those guys that is going to use the hell out of this cooker, he is a fellow BBQ foodie like myself. I hope he enjoys "Kerry" and some day is able to make better ribs than I do...
The last smoker made at RBM in Hayfield is out the door....
Rod and Ryan are the father son team that bought the Big Pig at the auction, they got a great deal on a great smoker and I hope it treats them well!
The New Journey...
With the new Harley in the garage, I hope to get started on the next phase of my BBQ journey. With years of building pits and cooking BBQ, I wanted to go out and discover and talk with other people that have just as much passion for this style of cooking as I do. The thrill of making a smoker and delivering it to a new customer is one of the best feelings in the world. So if you see me at an event and love this web sight let me know I may have a little gift for you, and If I see one of my smokers being used I will definitely stop by and visit.
